1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GridPilot ("the Service"), operated by GridPilot ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GridPilot is a web application that allows users to design custom Gridfinity-compatible tool trays from photographs. The Service provides image processing, tray layout design, and 3D model file generation (3MF/DXF) for personal 3D printing.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

GridPilot offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at [email protected].

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all photographs and designs you upload to or create with GridPilot. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for training or any purpose unrelated to delivering the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
Upload malicious files or content
Share your account with others or resell access
Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal use

7. Intellectual Property

The GridPilot software, branding, and website content are owned by GridPilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Gridfinity is an open standard created by Zack Freedman; GridPilot is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Gridfinity project.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that exported 3D models will be printable on all printers or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying designs before printing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GridPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed prints, material waste, or equipment damage. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
